A Special Benefit from the Veterans Administration

The CHMM Program is approved for reimbursement to eligible veterans and their dependents for the cost of the certification examination.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) will reimburse the cost of the test only, not any of the other fees connected with the certification process. If you took the CHMM exam anytime after October 2, 2002, and you meet the VA's eligibility requirements, you may file for reimbursement of the examination fee.  Exam retake fees are also covered.

The process includes sending a copy of your test results to the VA office that handles your education benefits. If you did not keep your test results notice, you may receive a duplicate from our office. Call us at 301-984-8969, or send an email to ihmminfo@ihmm.org.
