What or who motivated you to earn an IHMM credential?
My company’s Vice President of Safety requires everyone in our safety department to earn the CSMP designation as soon as they are eligible; he recognizes the qualities, knowledge, and high-standards it takes to obtain and expects them from those on his team: the ability to manage and lead as well as a mastery of workplace safety.
Personally, I was eager to earn the CSMP designation to bolster my career and value to my organization by demonstrating my abilities and skills in managing risk, controlling working place hazards, and overall promoting safety.
Are there any opportunities you’re looking forward to as a result of earning an IHMM credential?
I am looking forward to the unique opportunities that are presented in completing different tasks to earn recertification CMPs. I am sure joining the community of esteemed IHMM certificants will open doors for collaboration and networking with other colleagues in my field, as well as additional skill development.
What would you say to someone who is considering earning an IHMM credential?
I highly recommended advancing your career and showcasing your expertise by earning an IHMM credential. I chose a credential from IHMM as my first designation to earn because of IHMM’s established reputation of promoting a first-class standard of professional excellence and commitment to ethics.
