Dr. John H. Frick Memorial IHMM Scholarship

Welcome to the Dr. John H. Frick Memorial IHMM Scholarship

The Institute of Hazardous Materials Management is pleased to have created $32,000 in academic scholarships, divided equally between $16,000 for students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate education in approved schools and who are also Student CHMMs, and $16,000 for students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate education in approved schools and who are also Student ASHMs. IHMM has named this scholarship the Dr. John H. Frick Memorial IHMM Scholarship in honor of one of the principal founders of IHMM who passed away in 2023.

IHMM seeks to foster the growth and academic success of students whose courses of education, and participation in one of our Student certifications, will lead to those students becoming fully-certified IHMM credential holders later in their professional lives.

The Dr. John H. Frick Memorial IHMM Scholarship Committee

The Dr. John H. Frick Memorial IHMM Scholarship program is governed by the IHMM Scholarship Committee, seen here > IHMM Scholarship Committee

The Dr. John H. Frick Memorial IHMM Scholarship Committee has established and created procedures necessary to carry out an IHMM scholarship program that is best focused on limiting eligibility to students who are in good academic standing in degree programs currently recognized by the IHMM as approved partner schools. The students to be eligible for such IHMM scholarships are those students who are in good standing as either a Student CHMM or a Student ASHM.
