What or who motivated you to earn an IHMM credential?

I was motivated by a combination of professional goals and mentorship. I wanted to deepen my knowledge and credibility in the field, and I recognized that a CSHM credential would not only validate my experience but also set me apart in a competitive industry. A colleague who had earned the credential also encouraged me, sharing how it advanced their career and opened new doors. Their guidance and success inspired me to pursue the certification for myself.

Are there any opportunities you’re looking forward to as a result of earning an IHMM credential?

Absolutely. I’m looking forward to expanding my professional network, qualifying for more specialized roles, and potentially taking on leadership responsibilities in future projects. The credential has already increased my confidence when speaking to stakeholders and clients, and I anticipate it will continue to open doors to consulting opportunities, higher-level positions, and ongoing professional development.

What would you say to someone who is considering earning an IHMM credential?

I would strongly encourage them to go for it. The process is rigorous, but the knowledge you gain and the credibility the certification brings are well worth the effort. It shows a high level of commitment to the profession and helps you stay current with best practices and regulatory standards. If you’re serious about advancing your career and being recognized as a leader in your field, this credential is a powerful step forward.
