Maybe. Eligibility requirements for the CHMM include having a baccalaureate degree in hazardous materials management or a related field. Related fields include (but are not limited to): biology, chemistry, geology, engineering, environmental science, management, physics, safety, and industrial hygiene. For the CHMP, the Associate of Applied Science degree must be in Hazardous Materials, Environmental Studies, Environmental Management, or a similar field.
