What or who motivated you to earn an IHMM credential?

Before these certifications, I worked as a driver manager in chemical transportation for around eight years. I enjoyed the interaction with people daily, but I knew I wanted to do something else as my final career path. I want to be able to help people and companies to have safer environments so that, at the end of the day, people are able to go home to their families every day. So I decided to go back to school and get a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health, and I am currently in grad school obtaining my master’s in occupational safety and health.

What would you say to someone who is considering earning an IHMM credential?

For someone considering earning an IHMM credential, I would say go for it because it will be very beneficial for you in your future endeavors and help you with career growth. It is also a big accomplishment.
